Some of the levels are made very slightly smaller. though I'm sure it will change over Not that I'm arguing, but I'm genuinely curious as to what issues you feel the GG version of Sonic 1 fixed? To me it just made it harder to see whats happening, removed Sonic's nose (!) and made the boss fights insultingly easy. I was right, the order is significantly changing now that more people are voting! haha. Just click CONTINUE and press START with the password. Tip: When you die, you don't lose what you have collected. It can be a bit cryptic at times, but it's enjoyable once you accept what it does. Just stick with the better Mega Drive version. I couldn't beat the first level on Spinball. Actually, I think they were on something when they wrote that review. Sonic Blast is just bad, and the 6/10 score Nintendo Life is a joke. This game gets bashed a lot, but then people just like to complain that Sonic is driving a kart.
Sonic Drift 1 & 2 are fine 8-bit racing games. It's a guilty pleasure game that works fine on the Game Gear. Go and play Taz Mania on the Game Gear if you want a terrible game. Sonic 2 is way more difficult than the Master System version. Sonic 1 is one of those cases where I think it did better than the Mega Drive version, and fixed a few issues over the Master System version. Otherwise it's an okay version on Game Gear. The only reason to check out Mean Bean Machine is the exclusive Puzzle Mode.
